RESEARCH

We research all aspects of adoption 1940 onwards, make our findings public and investigate both legal and illegal Unmarried Mothers Homes.

PHOTOGRAPHIC LIBRARY

The Photographic Library of former Unmarried Mothers Homes was established to preserve evidence for Social Historians, and meet requests from unmarried mothers, fathers, families and adoptees. More than 800 former Unmarried mothers Homes have been identified and we are making strenuous effects to extend the Library as a matter of urgency, before these old building are demolished.

VOLUNTEERS

Our professional photographers welcome volunteers to photograph Unmarried Mothers Homes in their own area. Please contact Trackers International for details, advice and a list of Homes. Our aim is to publish a book on the subject and every photograph used will be credited to the photographer.
