Dear Trackers International,
Your wonderful website has recently been brought to my attention by a
British friend and I am writing to you to congratulate you for bringing the illegal
practices of the adoption profession to the attention of the general public.
I wanted to introduce myself to you and to let you know I and my organization
are right behind your push for a Parliamentary inquiry into illegal adoption practices
and to hopefully offer you the hope that it can be achieved.
I am Coordinator and founding member of the post adoption Organization
called Origins Inc. I conducted the research into unmarried mothers legal rights
and illegal past adoption practices here in Australia. In 1998 as a result of
a legal action I took against the state of NSW and the research gathered, our
organization also called for, and in 1998 managed to obtain, a Parliamentary Inquiry
into Illegal Adoption Practices between 1950 and 1998. The inquiry took two years
to complete with the Final Report in 2000 determining that the routine practices
here in NSW were both unlawful and unethical and constituted the unauthorised
taking of the child. In other words they were technically kidnappings as the babies
were being taken and hidden before their mother had signed any authorization to
legally relinquish her parental rights. In a nutshell of course.
A number of court actions have since commenced in consequence and right
now we are preparing a class action against the State of NSW and the offending
adoption agencies. Our only hurdle is getting past the Statute of Limitations.
This is only a small step at this point but still a step towards some kind of
justice for us all.
Here is my website.

Wishing you all the best in your endeavours and please know we will be
supporting you from afar.
Kindest regards
